Hello I’m new to this bigger tank setup. I’m used to having an AIO. I’m setting this up and was wondering which side (the skimmer side or the pump side do I keep and eye on for when I need to top off when the water level drop. Thanks

Thanks. I feel dump for asking this question. I was searching for threads but couldn’t find it. Probably because it’s a dumb question
Not a dumb question at all. You would have noticed soon enough anyway as the pump will eventually start sucking air and spewing micro bubbles into the tank and making a loud racket.

Pump will suck air and send microbubbles to the tank when sump gets low.
