Sump Questions Have Pictures. Here is what I got going on I put all the stuff in a 29 gallon tank I am not doing a traditional sump just trying to not have all this crap in my tank. Here's a list of the stuff I have down there:

Fluval E300 Heater
Seaclone 100 Protein Skimmer
Marineland 400 Emperor Filter
Air Pump Going To Poke Holes in Some Tube Put it In the 29 Gallon
4x Aquaclear 50 Filters

Here is my questions:

I was thinking of putting some Bio Balls in the Marineland 400 Emperor Filter?

Is there any filter media suggestions you would have for the 4 Aqauaclear 50 Filters?

I was trying to find out how to get the water to the tank?

Then also how to take water away from the tank so it doesn't over flow?

This picture is just of everything sitting in there right now. I got the Aquaclears a couple of hours ago and I haven't gotten around to putting the media / tubing in the them.

This came with my used tank in a random bucket of stuff I am not sure if this would work to pump the water to the tank?

if the tank is not drilled, your going to need an overflow box/surface skimmer and a return pump rated for the volume of your tank. Bio balls are fine you really don't need the air pump in the sump as it will add micro bubble to your tank as they get picked up by the return pump. you also might get a separator like you get to separate a breeding fish in your tank to separate the return pump from everything else for bubble control
