Sump questions

what would you guys recommend for a sump on 180-220g DT? DIY sump 55 or 75g ?
Also, I would like to see your Sump for a copy cat if you don't mind. Tia.

I’ve always heard to have the biggest sump that will fit under your stand if that’s the route you’re going. Or a big enough sump for the equipment you plan on using.

I just measured the space under the DT, and only 15" wide. So, I can only go with regular 55g, I guess. Now I want to see the DIY sump for a reference. Ty

Personally don’t have a sump. Hopefully someone else can help you out with some pictures

I use a 75g under my 220, the holes for the drain lined up perfect .
In case they leaked it would just drip into the sump ,the left over space is used for storage
Funny thing is I run an external skimmer so most of my sump space is a refugium & live rock , just pumps & probes in it .
