I’m having a hard time figuring out what sump to get for my 72x30x24 225 gallon tank coming from Crystal Dynamic early next year. I’d like to run dual COR20s, a skimmer (leaning Reef Octopus 200 INT or SSS if space doesn’t allow), open to AFR but socks are okay, and a decent fuge that may double as a frag tank.

I don’t have dimensions for the inside of my stand yet but will have an electrical cabinet built into the steel stand by CDA (a stock option). Awaiting those.

I see people with similar setups go with Trigger 39s or Bashsea 48s. The trigger has room for dual pumps but seems small for this size tank. The bashsea unfortunately has a design where you can’t fit two returns without cutting out the bubble reduction baffle.

What would you all recommend?

Synergy Reef CL60 or a custom CL50. Can't say enough good things about their build quality and customer service. I also have a GEO sump. Terrific build quality as well and has all of the bells and whistles. I've had many of their products over the years.
