sump/refuge design

i have an on going sump build and iam about to do the first stage as far as filter socks holder/flow idea goes i have 2 ideas and was wanting to get some input to wich i should or would be best to run

tank is a 125 mixed reef 74 gallon sump slowly going to more sps

the sump has 2x1" drain lines and will be going into 2x4" filter socks

option A

filter socks suspended across sump and return lines plumbed to them

or


option B

solid wall flow over chamber type

Option A will help you catch all the crud in your sock before it even gets into your sump. Would definitly be my choice.
