Sump refugium add to 14g biocube.

I custom built a cabinet to house the 10gal sump refugium I'm currently putting together. Just going off of research and how to videos. Tell me what you think and any info would be great.

Retro fitted the reef radiance light to the biocube lid.

Which model light? Is it that purple (some may see pink) in real life or is that just the camera playing tricks? Does it have anything to protect it from condensation?

155e. It's over kill but i can dim it down. Yes it's protected from condensation. Check it out online. So far I'm very impressed with the light.

It's rewarding building the cabinet and making The sump your self. My 3 year old daughter helped with everything and loves watching everything work. I'm preparing a future reefer.

curious how you built your drain line out of the cube to the sump. Did you drill?

No I used a nano overflow box in the middle chamber.

Like the sump. The light is very close to the tank surface. Are you sure you don't want to raise it to at least 12" above the tank ?
