One of my tanks (60gal) is currently running without a sump. I am hoping to add either a sump or refugium in the very near future but my dilemma being the stand the tank is on has no space underneath it for any kind of filtration. The other dilemma being it is not drilled so I will most likely need to use a hob overflow box.
I am hoping there is someone out there that has a similar set up that could offer up some advice on hot to go about setting this up. Can the sump be set up beside the stand without issue?

The sump can really go anywhere below the tank. On the floor, in the basement, etc. Next to it will do just fine.

Would say a 4ft vertical run be a potential problem and would you recommend pvc or flex tubing.
Thanks

I have my sump beside my tank. But tank is in wall so I can put sump anywhere in my room

Don't have the sump yet, but tank love cation and stand dictate that it will be remote. Any suggestions for dumps/refugiums? Looking at $250 max
