So I was wondering, what is a refugium? Silly question but Im learning this saltwater stuff little by little . 
Also, I was wondering if there's anything I can do to improve my sump. It's a bashsea bio fuge, with a bubble Magnus curve 5 skimmer and a bubble Magnus reactor, in the second chamber is just a bunch of live rock and my heater, the third section is divided into two parts one for filter floss or what ever and the other for the return . My main question is what else could I do with the live rock? Could I put some snails or something in the sump with the rock? Is that were macroalgea(is that what it's called?) Would go?
