Have 125 reef tank, using extereme for filtration. Have 180 corner flow pre drilled tank and 75 gal sump. Never built one, need help with pumps, elboes, shut off valves lines , tank came from marineland with plumbing, have heard that male and female fittings don't match up

Pre-Drilled, 1" overflow with 3/4" returns?
You'll need a pump up that would have 960gph after headloss.
Quiet One 4000 will have 712gph at 4' of head loss
You don't need much in the way of overflow pipe, you can use 1" flex spa. And use 3/4" return pvc. Utilizing one shut off and one union on the return plumbing. Or you can T off the return also, with one line going back to the sump, so that if you use a higher gph pump you can add a ball valve on the end of the T going back, to fine to the flow to the tank.

I want to thank you for the info, also I will be be getting home on the 10 th of sept. I think that the 180 pre-drilled might have bigger holes . I'm not new to this, but have never built a sump before. The pre drilled 180 has 2 holes in each corner. It came with plumbing, but there is more to it, as i can see. Trying to keep it simple. Don't know weather to run 1 or 2 pumps for return lines back up to tank. Have a 75 gal. Tank that should have been done 2 months ago. He has a saltwater store. We have a custom built stand, that was made buy fom scratch, really nice. Wan to try to keep everthing undeneath. Thanks Tom ph # 304-674-3627
