Sump setup guide

Somewhere I read a really nice guide on first time sump setup. How to mark the minimum, maximum, all of that.

Bad news is, I’m going to be adding water to my first tank later this week, and cannot find this guide again.

Anyone know which this may be, or able to point me at something similar???
