Hello,

I am sort of a beginner . I use to have a 55 gallon salt water tank with just a canister filter. Now I have updated to a 90 gallon tank, however the person I purchased the tank from has a sump system. I bought it anyway and thought, how hard can it be to figure this out.

I can't figure it out! I have no idea where the tubes should go and what should be connected to what. I have watched youtube videos and this does not help because every sump out there looks different. I am now starting to wonder if I made a mistake purchasing this and I am getting very frustrated. As you can imagine, I can't wait to start cycling my tank but can't until I figure this part out. I have attached images of all I have.

What would really help me is some sort of diagram letting me know what should be attached to what.
Does anyone feel like helping a girl out? [email protected]

Thank you!!!

Laurie

Wow. Well they all work pretty much the same. You have a drain coming from the tank emptying in the sump and a pump in the sump pumping it back to the tank. Do you know anyone that can come over and help you match everything up? Perhaps a local reef club? Previous owner?
