Would a wavemakers flow mess with the water levels in my sump?

The water level in my sump will stay consistent from 8 am to 11 pm, and overnight the level in the sump will randomly change (obviously effecting DT level) (sometimes higher, sometimes lower). Only thing that changes is my gyre pump (Gp03) changes to a lower flow over night from 50-60% to 30-40%

If it's not the wavemaker what could it be? Running a dcp-3000 return pump (3/4" outlet) running at 57% Flow is adjusted on the 1" return (Durso) with a gate valve.

I am now running a Tunze ATO to help with the low level in the sump but I don't want to overflow my tank.

I'd be more concerned that running the ATO for other than evaporation could effect your salinity level.

I know part of the low water side of things is due to evaporation. I am watching my salinity level and it's staying level at 1.025
