Sump Tank

What can you fit in your stand?

IMO, the biggest you can fit into your area. I wouldn't go below a 30g (113L)

I would say you'd be fine with a 20. I have a 10g on my 50 cube and zero nitrates. I believe bigger can be better but it's more what you do with it!

Absolutely, sump size isn't the main concern with determining your sump setup. Find out what equipment you plan on using and then if you want to add a fuge section or not. Go from there, any questions, feel free to ask away!

I'm of the club of more water volume you can get on a system, the better. But it's not necessary.

My 75 (( which will be taken down in the near future )) has a 20 long, as does my 65. Has worked perfectly for me. Prefer the "long" over the "high", more linear room.

Good call on the long over high. I went with a 40 br for my 60 gal.
