Hi i am having problems with the water level on my sump. i get the water level right then i will put it on feed mode the sump will fill up but when feed mode goes off and the water level settles out its always too low in the sump and this happens everytime i put it in to feed mode

Don’t put your return pump in feed mode. Put your wave makers in feed mode. I can also see your skimmer, if you have one, going nuts because of the varying water levels.
Feed mode use on the return pump is more for closed loop setups.

As mentioned if you are dialing down the return pump it changes the rate the pump is returning water.

Also, #WelcometoR2R. Swing by meet and greet and start a thread for us to meet you. If you want.

Pics? I'm having a hard time understanding where the extra water is going to. I shut all my pumps off for 10 minutes a day for feeding. Sump fills up, pumps come back on, water level goes back to normal.

I've actually noticed better feeding by turning off my return pump and leaving my wave makers on. I only have to broadcast feed with this method. Eliminated spot feeding.

I will still feed my nems by hand.
