Sump Water Level

I am installing a protein skimmer and it calls for 7 inches of water in sump. How do I increase the water level? Normally its around 3-4 inches. I am using a Pro Clear Aquatics model 125 wet/dry system.

IMO a wet/dry sump is antiquated and not really designed for a protein skimmer, but to raise the water level you can add more saltwater to the system. Just make sure not to add so much that your sump overflows when the return pump is turned off.
