Sump water smells

Heh my sump water stinks idk y... Can anyone tell me why they think it smells bad or give me any suggestions please

Detritus is getting caught somewhere. In a filter sock, in a corner with no flow or in/on a piece of equipment probably. I use a little wet vac and suck up the detritus out of mine once a month.

Funny thing you say tht because i realized my power head stopped working today.. N there is detrius on the sand so maybe that could be it?
