I just finished building my own sump from a 55gal tank that I got off of the Facebook marketplace for cheap. I found a guy that makes acrylic pieces specifically to what you want. For example I used a portion of my tank as a ATO reservoir. I just finished siliconing everything in place. Here are some pictures on my finished sump.

He's a hobbyist just like everyone here and just does this on the side. He custom made this one for me and it came out absolutely perfect and everything fit perfectly. I found him on eBay out of all places but I was talking with him outside of eBay so that he did not have to pay eBay fees. I couldn't be happier.
