Nothing is ever easy in this hobby... **sigh**

Sorry for your troubles. I'm sure it'll be worth it in the end! Do you have a bubbler you could add in for gas exchange? Or else be sure to aim a pump or two at the surface?

well went to put 44 sump in skimmer wont fit octo 200 nt too big any suggestions want to do triton but i have to put skimmer in first aera which is for refruim any ideas

Gah. Ummm... :-\
Get a different skimmer is one option, but likely not a good one for you.
Do you have the space to run an external skimmer? I don't even know what's involved in this, to be honest, but it might be an option for you...

What about making your own sump from a smaller tank, this way you can size the space to fit your needs.

I custom built my sump with a kit off eBay..I put it together to match my equipment measurements...

just bought Triton sump need to make it work probley just have to buy new skimmer
