Sump

So I am struggling with sump placement. Either under the stand or in the basement. I have the means to do either. I am new to all this so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If I had the ability, I’d put it in the basement. But that’s an inherently more expensive install. But would still give you more options for a bigger sump, easier access to the sump and storage under the tank!

If I had a basement that's where I'd have mine, wherever maintenance is easiest is the best place for it

Thanks. The sump would be directly under the tank so I don't think it would be very hard to plumb it in.
