Sump

I bought this sump off of someone and I can't find any information online about it. All it says on the side is reef lake systems. Any one know anything about it. Pretty sure it might be missing some pieces. But I didn't pay alot for it. Thanks!

That looks like a wet/dry filter that would be filled with bio-balls and then the whole unit placed in an aquarium that would act as a sump and placed under the display tank. This is an approach that was very common and most people no longer use.
