I recently noticed that I am not getting good PE on my acros that are normally popping at night. Then one night I go to look and see that my lone emerald is hanging out in one of my colonies. He didnt appear to be eating just siting there. So I did some research and its 50/50 on opinions lol. So I decided to let it be and keep an eye out. The next night I look again and he is in a different colony, same thing just hanging there. Once again I think maybe he is just hiding in the colony and decided to leave it be. Well last night I found him again in one of the acro colonies. Since he was on an easily removable acro colony I went ahead and dropped him in the sump. I really liked the emerald crab but he was also bulldozing across and around my BTA also so I figured remove him while it was easy. I want to keep him alive just in case I need him again. How much of what can I drop in the sump? Maybe an algae pellet twice a week?

If you have a fuge there’s no need to feed him but algae pellets 2x a week is a good plan to keep him alive
