Tank has only been up for a few months but it was a transplant from a larger tank that was up for about a year and a half. 37 gallon DIY AIO, no sump, no skimmer.

Your tank is a great example of how I'd like mine to look. I love your use of macro algae. That is something I really would like to add to my tank. What do you have for lighting?March FTS by Dawn Gilson, on Flickr
This is my super low tech 56 gallon natural reef garden. It has an AC 70 filter, an Ice Cap 3k gyre, and a heater. Much of the filtration is biological from my rock and sand. Macro algae help with nutrient export and a 5 gallon WC makes up the rest. I have non photosynthetic coral, softies and LPS plus 12 fish.
I have a 4 bulb Coralife T5HO fixture. I run (2) 10K and (2) actinic. The blues come on at noon, the whites come on at 3:30 pm. The whites go off at 8:30 pm and the blues turn off around 10 pm.Your tank is a great example of how I'd like mine to look. I love your use of macro algae. On the 20g I have an Aquaclear 70 HOB filter with pinky pad, carbon pad in it. A Bubble Magus QQ1 HOB skimmer. MP10 for circulation. AI Prime for lighting. Tunze nano ATO. Dose by hand 2-part. Mixed reef. Packed full of corals, lots of LPS, softies, and 4 SPS corals, 1 Derasa Clam. 4 fish. This tiny tank is thriving and corals all are doing amazing in it, better than my 40g.what equipment are you using?
