Would love to see sumpless systems and how you run them, which equipment. thank you.

Thank you But would love to see particullarly Large systems w/o sumps. I heard alot of people in Europe used canister filters and moderate sized skimmers, I know all about the nitrate myth, Good Husbandry should offset that. Sometimes I believe all the bells and whistles plus this supplement and that supplement are Snake oil and just confuses new Hobbyists yet makes TONS OF MONEY for aquarium Manufacturers, Just my observations over 45 years in the hobby. Do we really need roller filters huge skimmers dosing this and that and lastest sump design? Just my opinion!

My tank has been up and running for 4 years. Canister filter with protein skimmer. No dosing. Lots of coral in the tank.

EXACTLY what I been speaking about, GREAT and Congrats. Knowledge is The KEY! I saw this skimmer recently and was IMPREssed with its perfomance. They use these alot in Australia>
Thank you. It is a good skimmer, i got it brand new for £50 around 3 years ago. Still works perfectly. Goes to show you dont need fancy tech to run a reef.

I never had a sump and use a 5' DIY, skimmer. Tank was started in 1971 and I moved it 3 times.

It is 125 gallons and for the last 3 years is all NSW. I also use a reverse undergravel filter with dolomite (state of the art in the 70s)
No dosers, controllers, or anything else.
