I have a 75g FOWLR, and have decided to upgrade my setup. I currently t run 2 sunsun canister filters, which I hate the maintenance and nitrate issues on. I am looking at a lifereef overflow, and possibly hooking up a float switch from autotopoff. I am really looking for a low priced sump. I have made a sump from a 30g for freshwater use, but I didnt really know what I was doing, and it is very loud, since it is a single pipe overflow. My budget is around $300 for a sump, unless someone has a good diy sump design!

Any thoughts on the lifereef overflow? Thinking about getting the single slimline, flow rates up to 600gph.

I really like my trigger system sump, and I also have a life reef overflow. I even have a skimmer from life reef. Amazing products with no complaints ever
