No space under cabinet due to construction of aqueon cabinet stand. Is it feasible to place sump next to 125 aqueon tank. How big would I need ? How to do it. Photos of sumps next to stand. Anyone? Tank is being converted to saltwater. Already in place.

Sure, why not. And with sumps the bigger the better imo. My 112g tank has a 40b sump. I really like the 40b shape for a sump. And they're $40 at petco!

Put it wherever you feel like running plumbing too and acessing it for maintenance. I like sumps to increase the surface area for gas exchange but I'm also running systems without them so don't feel like you have put a lot of work into setting up a big one. Sumps can go above tanks too but just be aware when water evaporates the water drop will be seen in the display tank and not in the sump if it's above the display.

Just as a more novel idea— There are tons of configurations of the Seamless Sump system by Custom Aquariums. Buy only the pieces you want. You certainly would never have to worry about them getting kicked and broken, sitting outside your tank.
