Sumps - what to add and how much

Adding a sump to tank. What is the best items to add to 110 gallon?

• Skimmer
• Live Rock
• Cheato
• Heater
• Return Pump
  
• Etc

Any and all help greatly appreciated. Pics would help too...

As of now:

• 2 Clowns
• Yellow Tang
• Fire Shrimp
• Zoas and a few Mushrooms

Opinions will vary......

I keep it simple and clean. 100 micron socks, large skimmer, reactors for GFO and carbon, and return pump. That's it. No sand, rocks, or algae.
I live in Florida, so I only need a heater about two days a year. If it is not in use, it is unplugged. To many horror stories of heaters going bad and cooking tanks.
I also have float switches for ATO, PH and temp probes, and dosing pumps for cal/alk. Mag is just added to ATO reservoir as needed.

You also want to think down the road on what type of tank you are striving for. I only say this because it will save you money later. You by a skimmer for example for the light load you have now and fill your tank up you may have to change it later.

I plan on adding more fish, corals, etc. So I will get a larger skimmer now. Bigger is always better I was told.

I like to keep things simple. A return pump, a heater, an ATO and an efficient skimmer. I've never really found the need for a refugium or baffles.
