How large is this anemone and where in california are you located if local viewing+pick up is an option?

I know mine is not a Sunbust Anemone as I don't have it's lineage, but I only paid $85 bucks for it and it's a pretty good knock-off IMO. The LFS that I bought it from had five of them. The mothership splits rapidly so I'm hoping that mine will be a splitter too!

Looks like a rainbow. They do split fairly quickly

Didn't your parents teach you that it's not polite to post on someone else's for sale thread? ;) Yours is a typical RBTA.

Unfortunately it looked like you overpaid as well:

Finally, lineaged sunburst anemones go for substantially more than RBTAs, so the comparison is cringeworthy.

D-Nak,

Wasn't aware of rules about posting on someones sales thread, but you are absolutely right after re-reading it I can see how it's could be viewed as poor taste and not polite. I assure you that I meant no disrespect to anyone and didn't notice that it was a sale thread. If I could remove it I would. Tell me how and I will.

My point was simply that it is amazing how slight differences in specimens can drive up the price of these most sought after ocean treasures. Example is the amazing looking Sunburst Anemones on the top of this sales thread versus say a black widow bta or ultra rbta. Or say some of the more sought after zoas, acros, etc. Bounce mushrooms is a great example since I'm told their only a true bounce mushroom if it's lineage is from WWC but there are certainly others that look similar if not identical.

Again, not trying to throw a turd in someones punch-bowl, but I get how my original post above may have looked that way. My apologies to all if that's how it was received. Trust me if I had enough of that green paper with the president portraits in my wallet to get one of those Sunburst Anemones I definitely would. I'm sure whomever got them is very proud as I am about whatever type of anemone I snagged.
