thank you again! These eye issues often resolve on their own. I usually recommend Maracyn 1 to treat these issues. The root cause is often mechanical damage, the fish hits its eye and it swells with gas as a reaction to the injury.Just to follow up on this. Didn't have to use Maracyn 2.
Did frequent water changes, bought Selcon and soaked to the food and fish is much better now.
Just to add to this thread as it’s the most recent on this topic.
I’m currently dealing with pop eye over multiple fish and am at a loss on what to do. All fish go thru QT with TTM and prazi.
About a month ago one of my tile fish got pop eye on one eye, went completely blind and ended up with pop eye on second eye. Fish ended up passing away.
Got second tile fish same species and just saw yest that it now has pop eye on one eye.
Woke up today and my male Bartlett anthias has pop eye on one eye.
All fish go thru two rounds of prazi and I don’t see any sign of flukes, any other idea what it might be to be affecting numerous fish?
