Good afternoon!

I've had reef tanks in the past, but an just getting back from deployment and getting a 125g tank set up. I'm doing some fish stocking planning, and am putting together a wish list. One of my favorite fish that I used to keep was a sunburst Anthias. It's been years since I've had one though, and at the time, I didn't QT. Mine got sick with a bacterial infection and died.

So now I'm looking to try these guys again as a more experienced reefer with QT, etc. But I wanted to get other reefers' experiences with them, advice, warnings, etc.

I would follow the qt protocol. I have never had one, however I would like one. I currently have some lyretail that I really like. Great reef fish.

The qt process is found in the fish disease forum.

Nice fish, but kind of shy. Will likely hide near caves. The Borbonius Anthias in my opinion is a much more personable fish, out all day. Both are very easy to care for. Sunburst grow fairly slowly, Borbo’s eat like pigs.
