I originally purchased this sunny d frag about 6 months ago. I bought it with 3 heads, and it now has about 12. This is good, but growth has stalled and the polyps are not fully opening, for the last couple of weeks. My other zoos, palys and misc. softies/lps are doing fine. I removed a couple worms with hard tubes from the frag, and cleaned off debris with a powerhead. They are still not looking great/fully opening. Any suggestions?...do these generally like higher or lower par? Again, I have about 30 other frags of softies and lps, no issues. They are under LEDs.

I have both of my frags of sunny d in the upper half of my tank, so from my experience I would say they like the higher par.

When I get my corals transferred over to the new tank, I will mount them higher. Right now they are in a temp holding tank on the bottom, so maybe that is the problem. Thanks

I moved them up like you all said, and they are looking good again, even sprouting new heads. This is one of my favorite palys, they just stick out from the rest.

Looking good. Mine are in the upper half of my tank and get a decent amount of flow from an mp40. They grow like weeds there.
