Recently received a used Sunpole Magnus vsg6000 and realized it does not have an intake basket. This will be my first sump setup and I am unsure on how important this piece is.
Searching for spare parts online has turned up nothing.
Any suggestions?
Just measure the input size, go to @Bulk Reef Supply and buy a strainer. Since they are male threads, and your pump is male threads you'll need a coupler also.

We're not too familiar with this brand, but just keep in mind that the threads on the pump may be metric. If that's the case, the thread x thread coupler in the post above won't work. If you're unsure, it may be worth taking this pump to your local hardware store to see if standard size threads will thread onto the input of this pump.
