I am currently running 4 ai primes and i am wondering if a nice reddish sunrise settings in the morning for like half an hour could be recieved poorly by my corals. I am also thinking of activating the lights from right to left to match the sun's movement. People have experience with this or any ideas to make this look good but also not be detrimental to my corals health?

It wont hurt your corals, imo.
I run 8 16hds on 3 systems. 1 hr ramp up/down 10hrs peak.

I ran my halide systems from right to left on/off. Did not see any benifit.

I use 1 hr up/down on my radions too.

i dont mean just a ramp up, been doing that for a while. what i want to do is make it look like a proper sunrise by utilising the red leds
Go for it then. I dont see the need but if you like it then I dont see it harming coral.

Running the white and red diodes at a low intensity would mimic the color of sunrise and sunset far better than the typical blue does. I’m all for it, provided the intensity was low enough
