So I got a Sunrise Tequila Monti from the tax fund event from WWC. I am wondering how I can tell if it is happy or not. I have 3 other SPS in my tank and they all have signs of opening with either little feelers ect. As I have not exactly noticed that on it but it is a small piece. Any help would be appreciated. He is in a 54gal Corner Bow, Kessil A360x light good flow. Currently sitting in the middle of tank about a third the way up.

I’m not an expert, but montis are easy in my experience. Honestly they can fade a little when moved, but the only time I ever had one not make it through a move it was obvious. No flesh just skeleton. Your pic is a little blurry, but from what I can see the monti (green with maybe red polyps?) looks just fine. You can always slowly move it up to stronger light over time as it acclimates. But if it’s happy where it is, and you don’t need it up higher then you could leave it.

Can't really see much from the picture, any pictures with blues off? Also it's odd they call that a tequila sunrise. Always thought these were the rainbow/sunrise type. Not that these silly names matter just an observation.

Sounds like all is well, I'm quiet new to sps as well so been doing a ton of research on them. The changes they go through when going from good to stressed are much more mild than softies so a keen eye is key as the polyps are soooooo small on some of these. Sound like you're doing good though.
