This guy is dieing for some reason. Maybe it's just the lack of flow it's getting in this spot? Or could it be too much light? Or maybe too much light for the lack of flow?
Everything else in the tank is growing more every day. This guy was doing well and spreading fairly quickly also and the last week or so it's been receding.

Did a par reading at the end of match and it's about 200-220 with the screen on. Taking the screen off adds about 100-150 par but I only do that for about a half hour to hour a week for water changes and stuff.

Water parameters fluctuate between these ranges always

Po4: 0.07-0.14
No3: 9-15
Alk: 7.4-9
Ph: 8.0-8.3
Salinity: 35-36

Salt was always hwmarine but have recently switched to red sea blue bucket a couple months ago for consistent availability.

This icp test is from April and shows a bit of elevated tin but and I have cuprisorb on hand just in case but I've been told not to worry too much about that and just check equipment as all these companies seem to show different metal results when given the same sample.

I occasionally add 5 ml of iodine a couple times a week. A couple of my gonis also seem unhappy...while the others right next to them seem to be thriving. I think I need to start adding some manganese for them. I think I'll start dosing that and do another icp test soon

I hope it isn't nudibranchs... I was thinking during water change this weekend I'll pull that frag off and relocate it somewhere to see if it recovers in higher flow, its grown onto the rock there on both side of frag and that newer growth seems fine and separate from the frag issue so far. So I'll reef dip and iodide dip it first and see what falls off. Do sps like iodide dips the way lps seem to love it?

And the flow pumps are on either side of that rock on back of tank so the only flow it gets is the water on top flowing back to the overflow

You have a reading of tin. Check for anything leaking in the tank. Not sure if they all get that reading. But i would check anyway for anything leaking and put the Cuprisorb in there just in case.

Can you get the alk to be more stable? How long of time for that swing?

I think it also needs more flow. They are encrusters, hugging the rock. Flow typically moves around rock, imo, and if the flow is gentle it may not be getting the flow it needs.

Edit: not sure about iodine, but you have none.

Yeah I've been dosing iodine since that icp result. That alk swing is generally over the course of 3 or 4 days then I add 1dkh a day worth of sodium bicarbonate for 2 or 3 days to get it back up to 9. I've been thinking of getting another doser to keep on manual mode only to add it a little every other day after all tests.

My kalk dosing is at max for summer evaporation. My ato hasn't been utilized since about April
