Sunset monti

I have a small sunset frag it's dark red with green polyps but I have seen some that are neon orange with green polyps what is the proper color? And how do they get them that orange color?
Just a few question

Mine are bright orange. Yours could color up. Looks like it hasn't been fragged that long.

I'd just give it some time. OT looks like its been stressed most probably from fragging (the white color on the red...)

Sunset monti can be orange/red/purple/blue with green polyps when fully colored and a large colony. No need to worry

How bout placement? Mines in the top half of the tank it's been in there for about a month that was the day I got it here's a pic of it now btw was red when I got it from wwc

i keep mine mid level and he is growing very fast I glued it to a skull so one day I'll have a skull sunset lol

It can be from different morph possibly.

I have two different colors and both are at same light. One is dark one is bright, that's why I think it's different morphs

I tried to buy the neon orange one from lfs said how much they said not for sale and then took it out the display I was like come on wtheck have had it happen a few times there I mean at least put an outrageous number on it lol

Mine is orange and the skull is an aquarium Decor from Petsmart I got the idea from someone else I saw one like a year ago and it was really cool
