i picked up a frag of this last friday (5/8/2018)..

im not sure what to make of it.. does it need more light?

My tank is 68g 35.5(l) x 19.5(w) x 21.5(h)

Lights: Kessil 2x160we 1x360we, they are 6-8" above the water line running at 70% until today i put them at 75%

Tested nitrate today: 0 (API)
tested alk last night: 7.6 (Hanna)
calcium is high, im not even dosing cal until it goes down: 500 (API)

monti is on the bottom glass

doesnt look too much different.. than day 1.. or does it look worse?

I would leave it be for now and let it acclimate to your system. IME sunset and mind trick lost a bit of color and went dark then exploded with growth and color. I ran the alk a bit higher than yours though. I'd leave it be for now.

ok, i wont monkey around with the lights or placement.
 
Monkey'd with the lights. LIghts are now 6.5 inches above water line.. at 75% intensity.

they were light 9.5" above the water. I wish i had a PAR meter. so im not guessing here.
