Super Frothy bubbly Skimmate? What is this?

So after I used some 2-part epoxy to put some corals on the rock, my skimmer overflowed on the lowest setting immediately the following day. I turned the skimmer off and its been off for 2 months now and even after doing weekly 10/20% water changes, it still did it.

So last week I made a DIY eggcrate skimmer stand to raise it by 2". This did the trick! No longer overflows.

But for the last week its been getting a HUGE amount of frothy bubbles. As in the bubbles are coming out of the top of the lid, that's how BIG the bubbles are growing to.

Its skimming out stuff for sure, but has anybody encountered extremely frothy skimmate?

Mine doing the exact same thing right now and pouring the chamber full of foam

Been there, done that (as the saying goes). My fix was running lots of ROX 0.8 carbon. Took care it in in a few days.

How often should I change the carbon out?
