If I'm not mistaken, any GEL superglue is fine. I use dollar store glue but have used gorilla glue gel a bunch of times also

Any cyanoacrylate gell works just fine. The dollar store by my house has been out intermittently too, so last time my wife saw it I had her buy me 10 packs. I like the cheap tunes because I can use them in the tank and then toss them when I'm done.
exactly!

Yes it's safe. I've used it when the dollar store is out. I actually prefer the dollar store. This isn't as thick as the dollar store brand, more like a medium CA glue. Also there's not much in these tubes though compared to the dollar store tubes. That could be a good thing or a bad thing.

The dollar store is where its at, I get so many reefing supplies there. My dosing containers? Dollar store. My coral dipping containers? Dollar store. Measuring cups, turkey basters, fragging containers, etc, etc. Now that you mention it, the Dollar store brand is thicker than the stuff from home depot.
