Somehow I managed to get super glue on my acrylic frag tank. I hand it in hand getting a frag out of the tank. I tried to wipe it off when I noticed it and it just smeared. It’s at the waterline. Anyone have this happen? What did you do? I maybe stuck looking at it I guess. What luck.

You might try a plastic razor blade. It shouldn’t scratch it, or polish like recommended above. That’s harder with water in the tank.
I’ll give that a try. I want to avoid any chemicals getting in the tank. This is my first acrylic tank. I’m not a fan. I only use acrylic approved algae scrubbers and it still has gotten scratches. There’s no rock or sand even in the tank. Just frag racks

Just go really light on it. I’m sure there are others on here with ideas. Good luck.

If you have algae magnets check them very closely for small pieces of iron. As far as the glue smear if it's on the inside you will have to buff it out with fine grit sand paper starting with 400 and going to at least 3000 but to make it completely dissappear you'll need to go to 9000 or 12000 grit. If it's on the outside Novus 3 then Novus 2 should work ok but the sand paper will work better but you'll need a spray bottle of deionized or distilled water to keep the area wet while you sand it. You should be able to find videos online showing how it's done.
