Super glue on Yellow Tangs body

Did some zoa mounting with super glue gel...

Yellow Tang now has some patches of super glue on its body. How long before it SHEDs that stuff???

How is the fish doing?As long as it’s not impeding it’s mouth or pectoral fins, it will eventually fall off, how long, usually within 5-10 days, good luck

Agree w/ WMR. I had a YT try and eat IC gel once. He had a ball of it on his lip for maybe 5-7 days, then it fell off. Acted like nothing happened the whole time. Hope you have a similar, fortunate experience

I once lifted a rock out of the tank to glue a frag to it. A blenny was hiding in a hole in the rock and jumped out, landing on the puddle of superglue next to the bottle I had set down on a piece of scratch paper. Little dude had glue on his fins and face. I was really worried, but he was fine, and all traces of glue were gone in like 2 days.
