Super glue question...

Forgive me, but after the years I forget the stuff I researched years ago...

Anyways. I always glue/epoxy my frags down usually. I recently temp'd down a frag with glue until I could get more epoxy in. I ended up moving it to a different spot completely. I left behind a superglue spot on some rock. My question is: will that super glue decompose and fade out? Or should I scrape it off? It is an eyesore and I will pull the rock to remove it if necessary.

I haven't had to think about this in a loooong time, and frankly I feel silly LOL. Help a old noob out!

should just popoff. try tongs or clean screwdriver. will not go away by itself.

Argh, felt that was the answer.. Guess i'm re-scaping tomorrow.

You can certainly pull the rock out and scrape it off if you want. If it bothers you aesthetically take a chisel or flat head screwdriver and scrape it off.
I don’t think it would decompose easily. It’s not going to hurt the tank to leave it though. Assuming it’s cyanoacrylate. It might take a bit for algae or coral to grow over it.
