Trying to super glue my dry rock during intermissions of the hockey game. Not going so well. I don't think my first piece will even stay together.. Are there any tips/tricks to this??

Super glue doesn't seem to work very well for rock. It's mostly for frags that don't have a lot of weight to them.
I would suggest maybe something like AquaStik. It's a two part epoxy putty.

Drill the rock and use acrylic rods that works well and can be taken apart and redone and no cure time smell and don't make skimmer go crazy

Aquamend is good as well. I used to get it at Lowes and Home Depot.

Side note: Is it okay to set my rock out in the sunlight to dry after rinsing? I would imagine it'd be fine but better safe than sorry.
