I bought some super glue from the dollor store. is it ok that it contains cyanoacrylate? I'm sick of paying 10 dollors a tube for ic

use allens metal and jewlery glue in the tube costs 3.99. alot of glue that works great. michaels crafts stores carries it.

This is what I use it is thicker than regular
super glue and thinner than Gel, it is Just Right.

yes it's ok to use it. I find that super glue gel works the best for me. I put it on the bottom of the frag and then wait till it starts to form a skin and then I put it in the tank and move it in a circular motion where I want it . Usually grabs in about 20 sec or so.

I've had good success using the loctite gel available at Walmart

I used to use this and thought the no clog cap was great. but I lost quite of bit of frags that have fallen off because this glue does not hold as well as the plain old super glue gel.
so I am back to using regular super glue gel. I just use a tube one time and toss it out and don't bother dealing with the clogging.
