Is super low nitrates going to be a issue on a mixed reef system , been running 0.0 on hanna hi range checker and 2 or 3 on low range, I did the tests more then once lol

If you have corals then 0 nitrates means they are starving. 5 to 10ppm nitrates is best with 10 for LPS corals.

You can feed more..I dosed neonitro at half dose to bring mine up. Just watch close if you do that..once mine registered it never bottomed out again.

I ordered some neonitro , I feed my sun corals daily now , which ends up everyone getting feed low, anymore would be excess and impact my phosphorus levels. Hopefully it is just a fluke,

High phos will lowere nitrates as well..I say be careful because they may be bound up in the rock if your tank is new. If not tested daily at first they may explode. Go slow
