Hi Has anyone tried using the 3" neck extension? If so what do you think? did it add much more performance?

I think these are really worth getting. I have one on my SRO3000 And two on my SRO2000. It's easier to fine tune the skimmers and IMO it increases performance.

I would have to agree, i too have purchased and used the neck extension on my SRO XP3000 and it made a world of a difference in the skimmer performance. Fine tuning the skimmer is a lot easier and I haven't had any overflows since then. For me, the neck extension allowed me to "Set and forget" the skimmer all together even with power outages.
