So if any of you can help me out, im trying to determine if this is a 5000 or 6000. I'm going to use it on my new system but it needs a replacement pump. Don't want to spend 325$ on the wrong pump. All I know is its a 10"skimmer I believe the guy told me it was a 5000 but it resembles a 6000. I must have bought it 3 years ago so I can't remember. Any help would be appreciated.

Picture of the failed pump could help.

I have an external version and the bubble blaster pumps are similar physical size, just different internal windings and impellers, i believe.

I no longer have the pump unfortunately.

I think I'm just going with a bubble blaster 5000 from a place with a decent return policy. Thanks for trying guys!

Super solution @WVNed!

@Pico bam These skimmers and bb pumps are worth the steeper price over the competition. I've replaced my bb3000 twice and even without proper regular maintenance the bb pumps will keep running longer than the competition even if you service those others properly.
