Could the low levels of cal and alk cause my acans to not inflate? As you know I've had problems with them not opening before and I've tried moving them and spot feeding them in several locations but I just recently started dosing and they seem to be opening a little. Could it be a coincidence?

But all my other corals my Duncan's hammers favias flower pots montis and acros all have done very well they haven't had a bad day once in fact they're growing like crazy

Probably around 6 months and they have never inflated. In the past few days my Valentini has started nipping them. But he's headed to another home tonight. This is the first time he's ever nipped at anything. I've got crabs and snails and clams and he has never touched them before

It's not the best but if you zoom in on the right you'll see them one on the bottom by the cardinal and 2 above and to the right of the Duncan

Anytime LPS is not inflating, the first thing I try is moving to a lower light area and see if it improves.

I've tried the bottom a darker corner of the tank combined with heavy flow moderate flow and no flow and nothing ever works. My parameters are always perfect. I'm very particular about that stuff

It's only my acans though. I've got 3 different Duncan's torches frogspawn 3 different torches and 2 different flower pots and they are always doing great

Any overhangs to take advantage of ? Got a way to measure the amount of light it's getting. Around 75 seems to be a good sweet spot.
