What is the best thing to add to supplement invert diet? I have a 90 gal tank that is fairly new. I have various snails and hermits and want to make sure they survive til tank maturity. I know I’ll lose them with time but want to give them the best chance until the inevitable larger algae blooms. I have seen those sinking pellets and wafers but didn’t know if there was something easier/better? Is nori okay to add as well?
Thanks!

I feed my hermits/snails sinking pellets and scraps of silversides/clams that I place in the sand. In most of my tanks though I don’t feed them anything special, only in my tank with 1 fish do I supplement the inverts. (because theres not much poop/excess food for them)

I was in the same predicament A few months ago. I dropped in a clam on the half shell once in a while and the fish would pick most of it but the crabs would have a feast at night with it And it got them buy until the tank matured enough for them to scrounge their own.

Thanks for the replies! I really like the clam idea and will pick up some sinking pellets as well. The ones I was looking at are the Hikari brand “crab cuisine” sinking sticks. Is that similar to what you use Han?

I use new life spectrum marine pellets, but anything that sinks should be fine.
