I notice the 3 kessils over my 125 don't cover the whole tank. I get dark spots from the top to 1/3 down on my tank. What would be a good way to get some light to those areas? Considered some t5 bulbs but not sure if I should only run them during the time my kessils are at the most intense or how it would look? Anyone else pair other types of lights with kessils?

I have two 160's that run in conjunction with a four bulb ATI fixture. Similar to your thinking but i ramp a little with the LED while the T5's are running. My schedule:

9am - 11:30am: Kessils ramp up to 75%
11:30am - 2:30pm: Kessils ramp from 75 to 85%
2:30pm - 5:30pm: Kessils ramp from 85% to 75%
5:30 - 8pm: Kessils ramp down from 75%

11am - 7pm: Blue+/Actinic T5
12pm - 6pm: Blue+/Coral+ T5

Blue accent/Moon Lighting: 8:30 to 10:30pm

Yeah that's exactly what I was thinking. Just wondering if it will make it look worse if I only use 48" bulbs on a 72" tank

BRS has the Hamilton Aruba Sun get the length that will cover your tank and get ATI bulbs. If you think you like more blue get the Blue plus, if you like more white either the aquablue special or coral plus or a combo of either of the three. That should do it well!

I'm using the 60" Aruba Sun (no LEDs) and looks good.
