Hey guys, I have a 75gallon with a 4 bulb t5 fixture about it. Bulbs are all ATI....blue+,aquablue, purple+,blue+. I was looking to throw on a 48" stunner strip....what do you guys think? Also, I know that lighting is mostly a personal preference thing, but what color strip would you suggest?

What color are you looking for in your tank?(dark blue, bright white, inbetween, etc..?)
Personally i prefer the reefbrites over the stunner strips but it all comes down to what you wanna spend. Both them and the stunner strips are great choices tho!

I run 4' reefbrite blue strip and love it. I was running a 5' 4bulb ati t5 fixture with it and now with led panels. Good stuff. Do it. You'll be amazed at the light and pop.

Colorwise, the blue/magenta looks enticing, but maybe the other color options would have a better shimmer effect? Idk. I've looked at the reefbrights also, but I think I'm just going to go with the Stunner for my first LED.

I just purchased a Vertex Illumilux 48 inch LED model for my 120 Gallon tank. I was very surprised that when I had my Actinics and Daylights on (in addition to the LED's) you could not even tell that the LED's were on. It is only when the daylights are off that you begin to get some hint of the LED's. But once my T5 fixture is completely off and the LED's are on...it is UNREAL! I cannot believe the way that everything looks!

Would one 48" strip be beneficial at all since you cant even tell its on when all your lights are or is it purely for spectating?

I guess the thing to do would be to have it come on before my actinics and stay on til after all the lights are off.

i run a reef brite all blue 48" with my giesemann neptune-pro 250w halides. i can actually see the blue/pop difference with halides on.........

I think I'm just going to stick with ecoxotics all blue strip. Seems like the blues, regardless whether it's reef bright or ecoxotic, pop the most.

Maybe take a look at the Current True Lumen Pro strips? I just added two 24" strips (1 in front and 1 in back) of my 6 T5's. With just the strips on, the tank is very blue and all the corals pop like crazy. I was scared these strips wouldn't be able to reach the bottom well but they do a good job. They are a little stronger than the Stunners so they may be a good option for you. The ReefBrites are definately the brightest of the 3 and would have been my first choice but I have a slim hood and couldn't get them to fit. When I have my T5's on, I can tell a difference when the led strips are on or off. Its not huge but they are strong enough to add some blue and led pop to the tank.
